FAMILY ENGAGEMENT

“ʻAʻohe pau ka ʻike i ka hālau hoʻokahi.”

All knowledge is not learned in just one school.

  • `Ōlelo No`eau #203 (M. Pukui)

Although learning does happen in a classroom, knowledge is shared from experiences at home, in school, and in the world. Through different experiences, children are able to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills with support from their family members and schools.

Through Title I, we are able to plan learning opportunities for students and families. These family engagement opportunities are provided to help support families to build relationships as well as opportunities to connect with their childʻs learning as a family.
